The Spring/Summer 2013 collection is here. For this series of designs, we drew inspiration from 3 of the most iconic ancient cultures: Japan, Egypt, and the Roman Empire. Since we were younger we were always intrigued by the amazing detail of Samurai era Japan. As we got a little older we took interest in the unique styles and symbols of Ancient Egypt. Finally, the Roman Empire's ideology of power and conquest was something we thought paired well with the other two cultures to best help us portray the concept of "Balance". The designs in this collection all concentrate on that central theme of balance using symbols and elements from these 3 civilizations to create remarkable pieces with meaning.
